Rules
We want to make Wild Water West a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. You can make the most out of your time in the park by following some simple rules.
General Rules & Policies
All park rules apply and must be followed.
Weather Policy: In the event of severe weather or inclement weather the park will close early for public safety. In the event of lightening, a “lightening delay” will start for ONE hour and we will determine the best case of action from there. In the event of rain, we will stay open until a call is made or the weather intensifies into severe weather. Due to any case of severe weather, we do not provide refunds. Rain checks may be available at the front office pending weather severity.
Dress code: Shirts and footwear are required on all dry rides at all times. Shorts with zippers, buttons, or cut-off jeans are prohibited at all water attractions. Aqua socks and shirts worn over swimsuits are allowed on all water attractions.
Parking: Free parking is located throughout the entire parking lot. We encourage busses to park in the bus parking area located in the south part of the lot. NO alcohol consumption is allowed in our parking lot at any time. If you are CAUGHT with alcohol in our parking lot or in our waterpark that we do NOT sell – we are in total capacity to confiscate it and dump it out, you will then be asked to leave the property. Also, no overnight parking is permitted. Any vehicles illegally parked will be towed immediately at the owner’s expense.
Exit and re-entry: Exit and re-entry are allowed only on the same day at no additional charge provided the wristband has not been removed or tampered with.
Lifejackets, floatable, & toys: Free life jackets are provided to children and novice swimmers. Toys are allowed until they become an issue or a safety hazard for surrounding guests, we can at any time – tell you to put your toys or floaties away for guest safety. We do ENCOURAGE all of our guests to bring their own lifejackets as we are limited on the amount that we have. We do our best to supply what we can – we do though fall short sometimes on busier days.
Goggles: Goggles are allowed with children ages 0-12 years of age. 13 and up are prohibited to wear goggles. At any time a lifeguard can ask you to remove your goggles if they feel necessary.
Emergency services: Guests may receive first aid from our Head Lifeguard or any Lead Lifeguard at any lifeguard stand with a medical bag present (currently there are two located in the park, the first at the First Aid Station located by tube corral by the slides and the second at the entrance of the Wave Pool). Wild Water West is not responsible for the cost of further medical services. AS this is an “Enter at your own risk facility”. Wild Water West is NOT liable for any injuries you may sustain while participating in activities on property.
Lost & Found: When a customer or staff member finds an item, we attempt to find the owner. We will attempt to contact the individual if the item has a name and/or address. If unable to find the owner, we will log all items found. We will keep the item for 30 days. We will donate the item to charity if not claimed within that time frame. The park is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Food and beverage policy: No outside food or beverages are allowed in the park unless you have previously spoken to our Head Lifeguard due to food allergies or medical needs. All bags are subject to search. Outside food and beverages will be removed. Grills are also not allowed on any part of the park property. No birthday cakes are allowed. Violation of this policy by season pass holders will result in pass restrictions. Remember, you may enter and exit the park throughout the day if your wristband has not been removed or tampered with. Wild Water West reserves the right to enforce this policy. Cash and cards are accepted for concessions, and checks are not accepted.
Weapons Policy: No weapons of any kind are allowed into Wild Water West – we will ask you to return such items to your car. Refusal to abide by this policy will then invoke a revoke of your day pass or your season pass (with no refunds). IF you refuse to do so – Wild Water West has a right to contact local Law Enforcement to then handle the situation further.
Bottled water policy: We do not allow any outside beverages to be brought into the park. If there is liquid in your water bottle(s) we will ask that you pour your liquids out or return them to your car. We will refill your WWW Mug at any of our concession outlets for FREE. We do sell bottled water at all of our concession stands.
