Rules

We want to make Wild Water West a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. You can make the most out of your time in the park by following some simple rules.

General Rules & Policies

All park rules apply and must be followed.

Weather Policy: In the event of severe weather or inclement weather the park will close early for public safety. In the event of lightening, a “lightening delay” will start for ONE hour and we will determine the best case of action from there. In the event of rain, we will stay open until a call is made or the weather intensifies into severe weather. Due to any case of severe weather, we do not provide refunds. Rain checks may be available at the front office pending weather severity.

Dress code: Shirts and footwear are required on all dry rides at all times. Shorts with zippers, buttons, or cut-off jeans are prohibited at all water attractions. Aqua socks and shirts worn over swimsuits are allowed on all water attractions.

Parking: Free parking is located throughout the entire parking lot. We encourage busses to park in the bus parking area located in the south part of the lot. NO alcohol consumption is allowed in our parking lot at any time.  Also, no overnight parking is permitted. Any vehicles illegally parked will be towed immediately at the owner’s expense.

Exit and re-entry: Exit and re-entry are allowed only on the same day at no additional charge provided the wristband has not been removed or tampered with.

Lifejackets, floatable, & toys: Free life jackets are provided to children and novice swimmers. Floatable, water wings and throw toys are not allowed in the waterpark by safety standards.

Goggles: Goggles are allowed with children ages 0-12 years of age. 13 and up are prohibited to wear goggles.

Emergency services: Guests may receive first aid from a Lead Lifeguard at any lifeguard chair with a medical bag present (currently there are two located in the park, the first at the NEW First Aid Center by tube corral by the slides and the second at the entrance of the Wave Pool).  Wild Water West is not responsible for the cost of further medical services.

Lost & Found: When a customer or staff member finds an item, we attempt to find the owner. We will attempt to contact the individual if the item has a name and/or address. If unable to find the owner, we will log all items found. We will keep the item for 30 days. We will donate the item to charity if not claimed within that time frame. The park is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Food and beverage policy: No outside food or beverages are allowed in the park unless previously okay by the main office due to food allergies or medical needs. All bags are subject to search. Outside food and beverages will be removed. Grills are also not allowed on any part of the park property. No birthday cakes are allowed. Violation of this policy by season pass holders will result in pass restrictions. Remember, you may enter and exit the park throughout the day if your wristband has not been removed or tampered with. Wild Water West reserves the right to enforce this policy. Cash and cards are accepted for concessions, and checks are not accepted.

Bottled water policy: We do not allow any outside beverages to be brought into the park. If there is liquid in your water bottle(s) we will ask that you pour your liquids out or return them to your car. We will refill your WWW Mug at any of our concession outlets. We do sell bottled water at all of our concession stands.

Catering information: No outside catering is allowed. Food concessions are available throughout the park for your convenience. For group events, please refer to our group sales page. We are happy to prepare a meal to your specifications.

Alcoholic beverages: All guests, regardless of age, must present a valid ID to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. NO alcohol is to be consumed outside of the waterpark, including no alcohol in parking lot areas. Alcohol found during bag checks will be thrown away and park security will be notified. If a FAKE ID is found, authorities will be called.

Pages and announcements: We only make emergency and group event announcements. We do not make announcements for individual guests.  There is a $5 escort fee should you need to enter and locate your child inside the waterpark.  Please make prior pick-up arrangements with your child to avoid any unnecessary charges or delays.

Pets: Pets are not permitted at Wild Water West Waterpark. Service/Guide dogs are permitted. If you are traveling and your dog is with you, prior arrangements can be made to watch your dog for $10 an hour. Space is limited so please call as early as you can! Pets must be picked up at 7:00 and emergency contact provided before you can enter the park. Please do not leave your pets in your hot vehicles!

Payment: Credit/debit cards and cash are accepted throughout the park. Checks are not accepted anywhere in the park. We also accept Tap Pay and Apple Pay!

Smoking policy: Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. These areas are conveniently located throughout the park.

Safety: You are entering this park and participating in activities at your own risk. Non-swimmers should be accompanied by an adult or guardian and never left unattended. We do not carry medical insurance. All lifeguards are certified through Ellis and Associates, a national waterpark safety program. Certified Lifeguards are stationed at all attractions and they are in charge of the pools and slides at all times. Please obey all posted signs and regulations. Attraction ratings and rules are posted at each attraction to inform guests about water depths, speed, heights, enclosures, physical limitations, and the skills required. Every effort has been made to make your visit safe and enjoyable. Wild Water West Waterpark rides are participatory. Rider safety and enjoyment are dependent upon the observation of posted rules and the personal judgment of the guests. Guests must assume responsibility for their actions within the park. Some rides may prohibit guests with certain conditions from riding. Guests must read and follow the instructions posted at each attraction. Anyone under 48″ is not permitted to ride on the free falls slides or the tube slide. If you have any questions, please ask any Lead Lifeguard or any lifeguard.

Wild Water West is a recipient of the Platinum National Aquatic Safety Award for excellence in professional lifeguarding.
